Rubber plantations
Morphological characteristics:
Acacia hybrid is a small tree, can be up to 25 - 30m tall with a diameter of up to 60 - 80cm. The trunk is straight, well-proportioned, white-yellow in color and has wood grain. The tree has small branches and thick, dense foliage.
The leaves are lanceolate, with 3-4 veins on the main surface. The flowers of this plant are pale yellow, growing in clusters of 5-6 flowers in the leaf axils. The flower blooming season is around March - April every year.
The hybrid acacia fruit is shaped like a flat bean, curls into a spiral when old, and harvests the fruit in July - August. When ripe, the fruit is gray with a hard and cracked shell.
Ecological characteristics:
Hybrid acacia has very fast growth, can be 1.5 - 2 times faster than the parent plant.
This is a light-loving plant that can grow on most types of soil with a pH of 3 - 7, but grows well when grown on gray soil and feralit soil. Acacia hybrid can withstand drought, distributed from 500 - 800m above sea level.
Hybrid acacia has many seeds and is capable of self-regeneration with seeds. However, we should plant hybrid acacia forests with cuttings instead of seeds.
